Thirteen of us showed up for Yankee Swap Day! Erin presided in Rick’s absence. Pete provided the Four-Way Test with gusto; you betcha! Jim Anliot expressed gratitude for their third grandchild.
I regret that my recording machine and I did not catch every comment during happy dollars. Dr. Joe told us that Vickie’s daughter, and her husband visited for Thanksgiving. The Hamlins enjoyed the company of their daughter and children for the holiday. The Anliots also had family visit for Thanksgiving. Ed Smith warned us about some old wicked Maine weather headed our way this winter! Pete alerted us to a potentially sad situation. There are rumblings that CLYNK is falling apart. Some people say they are not receiving their full redemptions.

We had one important business matter before us today – the election of next year’s officers. To the delight of everyone in attendance, Jim Anliot has offered to serve as club president for Rotary year 2026-27! I made a motion to approve the team of Jim for president, Susan for secretary and Eric for treasurer for the year ahead. Ed Smith seconded. All present voted in the affirmative. A huge “thank you” goes out to Jim, Susan and Eric.
Very nice gifts were unveiled during the Yankee Swap. In the #1 position, Tracy traded for the Dunkin Donuts gift card at the end.
